I like to travel, but I hate how long it takes at the airport sometimes.
There are so many people and it takes so long to show your passport and
paperwork.
機場常常人很多，還要檢查證件，要等好久喔！

Well, hopefully there won't be any more long lines at the Taiwan Taoyuan
International Airport. Because they are starting to try out their new "One
ID" facial recognition system.
桃園國際機場開始使用新的臉部辨識系統，就不用排隊了！

This system is designed to try to make lines move along a little bit faster.

With this new system, airport officials won't have to spend time looking
through passports and documents ...
海關人員不用再花時間檢查證件。

The One ID system can scan people's faces, which makes everything go a lot
faster.
只要掃描旅客的臉就可以了。

When a machine scans your face, it makes a map of it. No one has the same
face, so every map is different, and that's how the machine knows it is you
when it sees your face!
沒有人有一模一樣的臉，所以這個機器一掃描就知道是你。

With the One ID system, travelers can go directly from getting their boarding
passes to getting on the plane, and all they need to do in between is get
their face scanned!
拿到登機證後，再經過臉部掃描，就可以上飛機了。

I'm glad they're trying out this new system, it should make getting through
the airport a lot faster and a lot less stressful!
